History is the study of how the past shapes our present and future. At Δ’Ή½ΚΣΖ΅, our History programβ€”part of the Social Sciences Departmentβ€”offers student-centered learning that builds strong research, analytical, and communication skills.

You’ll learn how to investigate the past through a wide range of sources, including archival documents, personal letters, photographs, films, interviews, and more. Courses explore different time periods, world regions, and thematic areas such as political, cultural, military, and social history.

Whether you’re planning to transfer, teach, work in public history, or pursue advanced research, studying history prepares you for careers in education, government, museums, historical preservation, research, law, and other fields where critical thinking and contextual understanding are key.
